Description	Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic resin produced by the polymerization of ethylene. In industrial applications, it also includes copolymers of ethylene with small amounts of α-olefins. Polyethylene is odorless, non-toxic, and has a waxy texture. It offers excellent low-temperature performance (with a minimum operating temperature range of -100°C to -70°C), good chemical stability, and resistance to most acids and alkalis (though it is not resistant to oxidizing acids). At room temperature, it is insoluble in common solvents, has low water absorption, and provides excellent electrical insulation.
Applications	Features low‑cost, flexible PE tubing for general‑purpose microfluidic fluid delivery and routine lab‑on‑a‑chip testing.
