Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles, typically 30–150 nm in diameter, that originate from the endosomal system and participate in intercellular communication. They are enclosed by a lipid bilayer membrane and can carry proteins, nucleic acids, and small molecules. In research settings, exosomes are studied as natural delivery vehicles and as biological models for membrane trafficking, vesicle uptake, and formulation screening.

The Matexcel exosome collection spans three product groups: Standard Exosomes, Exosome Carriers, and Exosome Reagents. Each group is sourced from well-characterized biological systems and is intended for laboratory research use.
