Description The standard laminar flow chip is a glass microfluidic chip designed for the contact of two-phase liquids and molecular diffusion in parallel laminar flow, allowing for the observation of fluid flow within the chip channels at the micrometer scale.
Applications Suitable for high-precision fluid dynamics studies, electrophoretic separations and electrochemical detection, chemical synthesis and analysis in organic-solvent systems, and chemical reaction research under elevated temperature/pressure conditions. Glass substrates are especially well-suited for precision microfluidic analyses requiring UV transparency, high chemical resistance, or stringent cleanliness.
Features The channel surfaces are smooth; it can withstand a wide range of temperatures and pressures; it has good chemical compatibility; it is easy to connect or disassemble; it has good light transmittance; and it is small, lightweight, and highly portable.
