| Description | Vomitoxin, also known as deoxynivalenol (DON), is a mycotoxin mainly produced by Fusarium graminearum and Fusarium culmorum. Chronic exposure to high DON concentrations causes immune suppression, impaired growth and development, reproductive disorders, and organ damage in animals, alongside carcinogenic, teratogenic, and mutagenic effects. Cereal crops including barley, wheat, and rice frequently show high DON contamination rates and levels. DON disrupts cellular functions by interfering with transcription, translation, and apoptosis, inducing vomiting and increased mortality in livestock and poultry. The magnetic beads of this product are covalently coupled with mouse anti‑vomitoxin monoclonal antibodies, enabling efficient, rapid, and selective isolation and enrichment of deoxynivalenol. The isolated and enriched samples are compatible with downstream detection methods such as immunochromatography, ELISA, HPLC, and LC‑MS/MS. |
