| Product Name | Tungsten Oxide (WO₃) Microspheres, 5 μm |
| Catalog Number | IMM-MO-007 |
| Physical Specs | 5 μm |
| Description | Tungsten Oxide (WO3) Microspheres are uniform spherical tungsten oxide microspheres with wide bandgap structure and sensitive gas response, applied in gas sensors, photocatalysis and optoelectronic functional component research. |
| Applications | Tungsten oxide serves as an intermediate product in the production of metallic tungsten powder and tungsten carbide powder, which are subsequently used to manufacture tungsten metal products. Due to its gas sensitivity, tungsten oxide is employed for detecting toxic gases such as nitrogen dioxide and ammonia. Tungsten oxide thin-film gas sensors and tungsten oxide nanoparticle sensors have been developed; the advent of nanoparticle sensors has significantly improved the detection of low-concentration toxic gases. |
| Features | The product features high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, high surface activity, and low bulk density; it is insoluble in water and acids (except hydrofluoric acid) and dissolves slowly in concentrated alkali solutions. |
| Particle Size | 5 μm |
| Specific Surface Area | 30 m²/g |
| Density | 7.16 g/cm³ |
