| Description | T‑2 toxin is a type A trichothecene mycotoxin produced by Fusarium species, classified as a tetracyclic sesquiterpenoid small‑molecule compound. It appears as a white powder or needle‑shaped crystal at room temperature, with epoxy groups and double bonds serving as its toxic moieties. T‑2 toxin frequently contaminates grains and their derivatives, including wheat, corn, barley, rice, soybeans, and oats. Characterized by high production potential, resistance to degradation, and strong toxicity, T‑2 toxin accumulation in humans can induce neurotoxicity, immunotoxicity, reproductive toxicity, gastrointestinal irritation, vomiting, and diarrhea, and may even be fatal in severe cases. The magnetic beads of this product are covalently coupled with mouse anti‑T‑2 toxin monoclonal antibodies, enabling efficient, rapid, and selective isolation and enrichment of T‑2 toxin. The isolated and enriched samples can be used for downstream detection platforms including immunochromatography, ELISA, HPLC, and LC‑MS/MS. |
