Description Microfluidic droplet generation is a technique that utilizes the interfacial tension and shear forces between two immiscible fluids to segment a continuous liquid stream into tiny dispersed droplets. In conventional droplet generation units, the "flow focusing" structure is more stable during the droplet generation process than "T"-shaped chip structures, offering a wider range of controllable droplet sizes and facilitating the generation of droplets with diameters far smaller than the chip channel dimensions. Classified by chip hydrophilicity, we offer two types of droplet generation chips: hydrophobic chips for oil-in-water (O/W) droplets and hydrophilic chips for oil-in-water (O/W) droplets.
Applications Used for the preparation of droplets/microspheres with diameters ranging from 40 to 240 μm, including the preparation of sodium alginate hydrogel microspheres for 3D cell culture or for encapsulating protein and peptide drugs; preparation of chitosan hydrogel microspheres; Preparation of GelMa hydrogel microspheres; preparation of polyacrylamide hydrogel beads for single-cell sequencing; preparation of hyaluronic acid hydrogel microspheres for cartilage repair; polycaprolactone (PCL) microspheres for cartilage tissue repair; polylactic-co-glycolic acid (PLGA) microspheres.
