Description	Shigella species are the most common bacterial pathogens responsible for human bacillary dysentery. Infections caused by Shigella flexneri are prone to progression into chronic states with prolonged clinical courses. Transmission occurs via the fecal‑oral route through food and water contaminated by infected patients and asymptomatic carriers, with clinical symptoms including fever, abdominal cramping, diarrhea, and tenesmus. The magnetic beads in this product are covalently coupled with mouse anti‑Shigella flexneri monoclonal antibodies, enabling efficient, rapid, and target‑specific isolation and concentration of Shigella flexneri. Pre‑enriched samples are incubated with antibody‑modified magnetic beads, and after magnetic separation, the concentrated bacterial samples can be used in downstream detection workflows such as immunochromatography, ELISA, PCR, biosensing technologies, and gene sequencing.
