Description	Shigella dysenteriae, targeted by this immunomagnetic bead product, is a non‑mannitol‑fermenting member of the Shigella genus with 12 recognized serotypes. Transmission occurs via fecal‑oral exposure to food and water contaminated by infected individuals and carriers, with clinical features including fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and tenesmus. The magnetic beads in this product are covalently conjugated with mouse anti‑Shigella dysenteriae monoclonal antibodies, supporting efficient, rapid, and specific isolation and concentration of Shigella dysenteriae. Pre‑enriched samples are incubated with antibody‑immobilized magnetic beads; after magnetic separation, the enriched bacterial preparations can be applied to downstream detection platforms such as immunochromatography, ELISA, PCR, biosensing technologies, and gene sequencing.
