Description Mammary Fat Globule-EGF Factor 8 (Mfge8) is a multifunctional secreted glycoprotein that promotes mammary morphogenesis, angiogenesis, and tumor progression. Mfge8 also plays a critical role in tissue homeostasis and the suppression of inflammation. Mfge8 acts as a bridge between phosphatidylserine on apoptotic cells and integrin αVβ3 on phagocytes, thereby facilitating the clearance of apoptotic debris.
Application This product can be used for research on promoting cell adhesion and phagocytosis in tissue-engineered constructs with mouse MFG-E8 protein.
