Description Hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), also known as scatter factor (SF) or hepatocyte growth factor, is secreted by mesenchymal cells and primarily targets and acts on epithelial and endothelial cells. This protein is a paracrine factor that regulates cell growth, migration, and morphogenesis. HGF is also present in hematopoietic progenitor cells and T cells. HGF plays a crucial role in embryonic organ development, particularly during myogenesis. In adults, HGF is involved in organ regeneration and wound healing.
Application This product can be used for research on supporting murine liver regeneration in tissue engineering with mouse HGF.
