| Catalog Number | EGF-010 |
| Size | 2µg;10µg;100µg |
| Description | Epidermal growth factor (EGF) has a significant influence on the differentiation of specific cells in vivo and is a potent mitogen for cultured cells of various ectodermal and mesodermal origins. The EGF precursor is considered a membrane-bound molecule that, upon cleavage by proteases, yields a 53-amino acid peptide hormone capable of stimulating cell division. EGF stimulates the growth of various epidermal and epithelial tissues both in vivo and in vitro, and promotes the growth of certain fibroblasts in cell culture. |
| Application | This product can be used for research on enabling biotin-based detection and targeting in murine tissue engineering using biotinylated mouse EGF. |
