Description RANKL and RANK are members of the TNF superfamily of ligands and receptors, playing important roles in regulating specific immunity and bone remodeling. RANKL is expressed in various cell types, including osteoblasts, fibroblasts, activated T cells, and bone marrow stromal cells, and it is capable of interacting with a decoy receptor known as OPG. The binding of soluble OPG to sRANKL inhibits osteoclastogenesis by blocking signal transduction between stromal cells and osteoclast precursor cells, thereby preventing excessive accumulation of bone and cartilage. Human RANKL is active against mouse cells. Recombinant human sRANKL is a 20.0 kDa polypeptide consisting of the TNF-homologous region of RANKL (176 amino acid residues).
Application This product can be used for research on inducing osteoclastogenesis for bone remodeling studies in tissue engineering using His-tagged human RANKL for precise signaling.

Note Add an appropriate amount of sterile distilled water to dissolve completely, and dilute to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/mL. Allow the solution to stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to ensure complete dissolution.
The resuspended protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for approximately 1 week, or aliquoted and stored at 20°C to -80°C for 3-6 months.
For long-term storage, to enhance protein stability, it is recommended to dissolve the protein in 0.1% BSA at a concentration of no less than 10 μg/mL and store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
