Description PDGF-AA, PDGF-BB, and PDGF-AB are potent mitogens for a variety of cell types, including smooth muscle cells, connective tissue cells, osteocytes, chondrocytes, and certain blood cells. PDGF is stored in platelet α-granules and is released upon platelet activation. PDGF is involved in various biological processes, including proliferation, chemotaxis, embryonic neuronal development, and the development of respiratory tract epithelial cells.
Application This product can be used for research on inducing fibroblast and smooth muscle cell proliferation with human PDGF-AA homodimer.
