Description Hepatocyte Growth Factor (HGF) is a multifunctional growth factor that regulates cell growth and cell migration. It exhibits strong mitogenic activity on hepatocytes and primary epithelial cells. HGF acts synergistically with Interleukin-3 and Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor (GM-CSF) to stimulate colony formation in hematopoietic progenitor cells in vitro, and may therefore also regulate the hematopoietic process.
Application This product can be used for research on ensuring high bioactivity in liver tissue engineering with CHO-derived human HGF.

Activity The ED₅₀ calculated from dose-dependent proliferation of monkey 4MBr-5 indicator cells is 20-40 ng/mL.
Redissolution It is recommended to reconstitute lyophilized hepatocyte growth factor with sterile 18 MΩ-cm H₂O to a concentration of at least 100 µg/mL, after which it may be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.
Formulation The protein is lyophilized from a concentrated solution (1.4 mg/mL) in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 0.02% Tween 80.
Storage Store at room temperature for 3 weeks, or in a dry environment at -18°C or below. After reconstitution, store at 4°C for 2-7 days; thereafter, store at -18°C or below for future use. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
