Description Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) is a multifunctional cell growth factor that acts extensively on tissues and cells derived from the mesoderm and neuroectoderm. Its fundamental biological function is to promote cell division and proliferation. Another important function of bFGF is its angiogenic effect. It promotes rapid neovascularization in tissues such as the cornea, skin, and renal capsule; it chemotaxes various cells of the vascular endothelium and stimulates the proliferation and migration of various cell types, thereby playing a significant role in processes such as tumorigenesis, tissue repair following atherosclerotic plaque damage, and others. bFGF also acts as a neurotrophic factor, promoting the growth and differentiation of neural tissue and maintaining its viability. bFGF plays a crucial role in inducing embryonic development. Normal embryonic development relies heavily on mesodermal induction; bFGF acts on various cells derived from the mesoderm and participates in mesodermal induction. Numerous experiments have confirmed that bFGF can inhibit apoptosis. The sequence of this product is identical to that of natural human bFGF and does not contain a purification tag.
Application This product can be used for research on enhancing cell growth and extracellular matrix synthesis in regenerative medicine applications with human fibroblast growth factor.

Note Add an appropriate amount of sterile distilled water to dissolve completely, and dilute to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/mL. Allow the solution to stand at room temperature for 15-20 minutes to ensure complete dissolution.
The resuspended protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for approximately 1 week, or aliquoted and stored at 20°C to -80°C for 3-6 months.
For long-term storage, to enhance protein stability, it is recommended to dissolve the protein in 0.1% BSA at a concentration of no less than 10 μg/mL and store at -20°C to -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
