| Catalog Number | CGF-002 |
| Size | 5µg;20µg;1mg |
| Description | Connective Tissue Growth Factor belongs to the CCN protein family. The CCN family currently comprises six members in humans, also known as: Cyr61 (Cysteine-rich 61), CTGF (Connective Tissue Growth Factor), Nov (Nephroblastoma Overexpression Gene), and WISP-1, 2, and 3 (Wnt-1-induced secreted proteins). CCN genes encode secreted proteins associated with the extracellular matrix (ECM) and cell membranes. CCN proteins are extracellular matrix proteins involved in the regulation of various cellular functions, including proliferation, differentiation, survival, adhesion, and migration. They are expressed in derivatives of the embryonic three germ layers and participate in the development of the kidneys, nervous system, muscles, bone marrow, cartilage, and skeleton. In adulthood, they are involved in wound healing, fracture repair, and pathological processes such as fibrosis, vascular diseases, and tumorigenesis. |
