| Product Name | PSA Magnetic Beads |
| Catalog Number | MGB-BM-033 |
| Description | PSA magnetic beads (Si-PSA) are superparamagnetic magnetic particles surface-modified with N-propylethylenediamine (PSA) functional groups, widely used as functional magnetic beads mainly for selective binding of target molecules via ion exchange. Si-PSA magnetic microspheres are monodisperse, non-aggregated spherical particles with uniform size, superparamagnetism, rapid magnetic response, monodispersity, and submicron dimensions. N-propylethylenediamine contains two amine groups (primary and secondary amine) with high pKa values (10.1 and 10.9 respectively), granting PSA microspheres higher ion exchange capacity and stronger ion-exchange performance. Additionally, the PSA bonded phase acts as a bidentate ligand to provide chelation effects, resulting in relatively low polarity. |
