Description	This Protein G Immunoprecipitation / Co-Immunoprecipitation Kit contains reagents for up to 40 reactions, with 25 μL of magnetic beads per reaction. It enables highly efficient IP and Co-IP assays using less than 10 μg of antibody per sample, with no centrifugation required. Protein G Magnetic Beads consist of 200 nm nanoparticles covalently conjugated with Protein G. The nanoscale structure provides an extremely high specific surface area, yielding more binding sites, lower bead consumption, and minimal non-specific binding. Protein A is a cell wall protein isolated from Staphylococcus aureus, while Protein G is an immunoglobulin-binding protein derived from group C and G Streptococcal strains. Both proteins function similarly by binding to the Fc region of IgG from most mammalian species.
Applications	For immunoprecipitation (IP) or co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) of antigens in samples such as cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, serum, and ascites.
