| Product Name | Protein A Magnetic Beads, 200 nm |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-002 |
| Size | 1 mL, 5 mL |
| Physical Specs | 200 nm |
| Description | Protein A Magnetic Beads consist of 200 nm magnetic nanoparticles covalently conjugated with Protein A. The nanoscale beads deliver a high specific surface area, enabling increased binding capacity, lower bead consumption, and minimized non-specific binding. Protein A is a cell-wall protein derived from Staphylococcus aureus, while Protein G is an immunoglobulin-binding protein isolated from groups C and G Streptococcal bacteria. Both proteins share similar functions and bind the Fc region of IgG from most mammalian species. |
| Applications | For immunoprecipitation (IP) or co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP) of antigens in samples such as cell lysates, cell culture supernatants, serum, and ascites. |
| Particle Size | 200 nm |
| Concentration | 10 mg/mL |
| Ligand-binding Capacity | ≥ 0.9 mg hlgG/mL beads |
| Storage | 2-8°C |
