| Product Name | NHS Magnetic Beads, 300 nm |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-028 |
| Size | 1 mL, 10 mL |
| Physical Specs | 300 nm |
| Description | NHS-activated magnetic beads are surface-modified with NHS functional groups, which form stable amide bonds with proteins and other molecules containing primary amines, enabling affinity purification of antibodies, antigens, and other biomolecules. Unlike conventional carboxyl or amino beads, NHS-modified beads require no pre-activation with EDC/NHS or glutaraldehyde. Biological ligands with primary amines are simply dissolved in the provided Coupling Buffer and mixed with NHS beads at room temperature for 1-2 hours to achieve efficient covalent conjugation. The coupling process must be performed in amine-free buffers; manual separation uses a magnetic stand, while automated platforms support high-throughput screening. |
| Applications | Suitable for covalent coupling of protein, antibody, enzyme, polypeptide, nucleic acid and other biological molecules containing primary amine groups. |
