| Product Name | NHS-Activated Agarose Magnetic Beads, 20-45 μm |
| Catalog Number | MGB-BM-027 |
| Physical Specs | 20-45 μm |
| Description | NHS-activated agarose magnetic beads (Magarose-NHS) allow straightforward and efficient covalent immobilization of proteins onto magnetic bead supports, offering a reliable method for affinity purification of antibodies, antigens, and other biomolecules. The activated agarose beads contain N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) functional groups that react with primary amines on proteins or other molecules to form stable amide bonds. Coupling reactions are performed in amine-free buffers at pH 7-9, with efficiency exceeding 80% independent of ligand molecular weight or isoelectric point (pI). Following ligand immobilization, the resulting agarose magnetic beads can be applied in multiple affinity purification workflows. |
