Description LNP@Tectorigenin is an innovative formulation that encapsulates tectorigenin in lipid nanoparticles (LNP). Irisin, a plant isoflavone, was isolated from the dried flowers of Pueraria lobata for the first time and has a variety of potential biological activities. Studies have found that it can dose-dependently inhibit the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in human umbilical vein endothelial cells stimulated by palmitic acid. In the concentration range of 0.1 to 10 μM, it can also attenuate IKKβ phosphorylation, effectively inhibit the activation of NF-κB through p65 phosphorylation, and simultaneously inhibit the production of TNF-α and IL-6. For HepG2 cells, irisin can reduce the number of viable cells in a concentration- and time-dependent manner. Lipid nanoparticles are composed of nanoscale particles composed of a variety of lipids with good biocompatibility. They can protect irisin from unnecessary reactions with other substances in complex biological environments, improve its stability, enhance cell uptake efficiency, and more efficiently deliver irisin to target cells or tissues. They have potential application value in biomedical research, disease treatment exploration, etc.
