Description	Lens Culinaris Agglutinin (LCA) is a ~49 kDa metalloprotein isolated from lentil seeds, composed of two 17 kDa and two 8 kDa subunits, specifically binding α-D-mannose, α-D-glucose, and related residues. LCA magnetic beads are affinity matrices for glycoprotein isolation via specific, reversible lectin-carbohydrate interactions, enabling rapid magnetic separation without centrifugation, filtration, or chromatography.
Applications	Used for the separation and purification of glycoproteins, membrane proteins, glycolipids, polysaccharides, membrane vesicles containing mannose or glucose residues, IgM, and hormone-binding proteins.
