Description	Human astrovirus (HAstV) is a non‑enveloped, single‑stranded positive‑sense RNA virus. It is transmitted primarily via the fecal‑oral route, including ingestion of contaminated water or food, close contact with infected individuals, and contact with contaminated surfaces. Clinical manifestations of HAstV‑associated gastroenteritis are generally milder than those of rotavirus infection, characterized mainly by watery diarrhea, which may be accompanied by vomiting, abdominal pain, fever, and anorexia. The magnetic beads of this product are covalently coupled with mouse anti‑HAstV monoclonal antibodies, allowing efficient, rapid, and selective isolation and concentration of HAstV. Samples are incubated with magnetic beads coated with mouse anti‑HAstV monoclonal antibodies. Following magnetic separation, the enriched samples are suitable for downstream applications such as immunochromatography, ELISA, PCR, biosensing, and gene sequencing.
