| Description | Ginsenoside liposomes are nanoscale drug delivery systems constructed by encapsulating ginsenosides in a bilayer membrane formed of lipid materials such as phospholipids. Ginsenosides, as the core active ingredients of Araliaceae ginseng plants, are glycoside compounds. Liposomes use phospholipids as membrane materials to spontaneously form a closed bilayer structure in the aqueous phase, encapsulating ginsenosides in it. This structure is like a "microcapsule", which gives ginsenosides many advantages. First of all, the solubility and stability of ginsenosides are improved, so that they can better maintain their activity in the body and are less susceptible to interference from the external environment. Secondly, targeted delivery is achieved. By modifying the liposome surface, such as connecting specific antibodies and ligands, it can be guided to accurately reach diseased tissues or cells, improving the treatment effect while reducing side effects on normal tissues. Thin film dispersion method, reverse evaporation method, etc. are often used to prepare ginsenoside liposomes. In the film dispersion method, film materials such as phospholipids and ginsenosides are first dissolved in an organic solvent, and the solvent is removed by rotary evaporation to form a uniform film on the container wall. Then buffer is added for hydration, and evenly dispersed liposomes are obtained through ultrasonic, extrusion, and other treatments. The reverse evaporation rule is to mix membrane materials such as phospholipids, ginsenosides and buffers to form a water-in-oil emulsion, and then evaporate to remove the organic solvent to prepare liposomes. |
