| Description | Fumonisins (FBs), also known as fusarium moniliformin toxins, are diester compounds composed of diverse polyhydroxy alcohols and tricarboxylic acids, mainly produced by Fusarium verticillioides, Fusarium proliferatum, and other Fusarium species. FBs exhibit high thermal stability and are difficult to degrade during feed and food processing. Based on substituents and structural variations on the carbon skeleton, they are categorized into groups A, B, C, and P, among which group B fumonisins show the widest distribution and highest toxicity. Fumonisins contaminate various matrices, with corn and its products being the most susceptible commodities. They are widely present in animal feed and may persist in milk and dairy products, posing carcinogenic and teratogenic risks that threaten livestock production and human health. The magnetic beads in this product are covalently conjugated with mouse anti‑fumonisin B1 monoclonal antibodies, supporting efficient, rapid, and selective isolation and enrichment of fumonisin B1. The isolated and enriched samples are compatible with downstream detection methods such as immunochromatography, ELISA, HPLC, and LC‑MS/MS. |
