| Product Name | Epoxy-Activated Agarose Magnetic Beads, 20-45 μm |
| Catalog Number | MGB-BM-024 |
| Physical Specs | 20-45 μm |
| Description | Epoxy-activated agarose magnetic beads are fabricated from 6% highly cross-linked agarose gel with an average particle size of 20-45 μm, surface-grafted with macromolecular carbohydrate chains to enhance specific surface area and biocompatibility. Affinity magnetic beads synthesized from this matrix minimize steric hindrance between proteins and between proteins and the support, delivering higher binding capacity under equivalent ligand density and improved resolution. The enlarged specific surface area shortens equilibrium and elution times, while the grafted structure maintains consistent binding capacity even when purifying large biomolecules such as viruses and antibodies. |
