| Product Name | Electrode Barrier-on-a-Chip |
| Catalog Number | OOC-019 |
| Physical Specs | 20*15*4 mm |
| Description | This Electrode Barrier-on-a-Chip reconstructs the three-dimensional tissue architecture and physiological microenvironment of the target on a microfluidic platform via biomimetic design. Precisely arranged cell-culture chambers and fluidic channels within the chip simulate in-vivo blood perfusion, mechanical stress, and tissue-interface interactions, sustaining long-term cell viability and functional expression under near-physiological conditions. Compared with conventional 2D culture, organ chips substantially improve the in vitro recapitulation of tissue function, providing a more clinically predictive in vitro model for drug metabolism, toxicity assessment, and disease-mechanism research. |
| Applications | Integrates electrode-based barrier monitoring to enable real-time, quantitative assessment of tissue barrier integrity and permeability changes. |
