Description	DSPC-chol (55-45, mol-mol)lipid nanoparticles are highly stable, non-PEGylated lipid nanoparticles composed of fully synthetic, high-purity phospholipids, using the DSPC-chol (55: 45)formula. This system uses distearoylphosphatidylcholine (DSPC, tm≈55°C)as the core phospholipid, and its fully saturated symmetrical C18 alkyl chain forms a highly ordered and tightly arranged rigid gel membrane at physiological temperature. A high proportion of 45 mol% cholesterol is deeply embedded in the phospholipid bilayer, which not only effectively fills the molecular gaps and reduces membrane permeability, but also enhances the mechanical strength and thermodynamic stability of the membrane to achieve protection against drug leakage.
