| Description | Tetracyclines (TCs) are a class of compounds characterized by a hydronaphthacene ring skeleton, including tetracycline (TC), chlortetracycline (CTC), oxytetracycline (OTC), and doxycycline (DC). As broad‑spectrum antibiotics, they exert antimicrobial effects by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis and are widely used in livestock and poultry farming. However, tetracycline residues in animal-derived foods enter the human food chain and pose health risks. Tetracyclines bind to calcium ions in bone tissue, impairing dental and skeletal development, and may induce gastrointestinal, hepatic, and renal damage with high‑dose exposure. The magnetic beads in this product are covalently conjugated with mouse anti‑doxycycline monoclonal antibodies, facilitating efficient, rapid, and selective isolation and enrichment of doxycycline. The isolated and enriched samples can be utilized in downstream assays including immunochromatography, ELISA, HPLC, and LC‑MS/MS. |
