| Description | DOX-SAA@LNP-DTPA is a nanocomposite that integrates drug delivery, targeted transport and imaging diagnosis functions. The complex uses lipid nanoparticles (LNP) as the core carrier. With its good biocompatibility and degradability, it can efficiently encapsulate doxorubicin, effectively protect the drug activity and reduce the side effects of the drug on normal tissues. Serum amyloid A (SAA) is modified on the surface of LNP, which can specifically recognize receptors abnormally expressed on the surface of tumor cells, giving the complex the ability to actively target tumor cells, allowing doxorubicin to be accurately enriched in the tumor site. The introduction of diethylenetriaminepentacetic acid (DTPA) can not only chelate metal ions and serve as a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) contrast agent to achieve visual diagnosis of tumor, but can also adjust the surface properties of nanoparticles and optimize their in vivo circulation performance. |
