Description	Chloramphenicol liposomes loaded with doxorubicin are a novel drug delivery system. It encapsulates both the drug doxorubicin and the antibiotic chloramphenicol inside liposomes. Liposomes are generally composed of biocompatible materials such as phospholipids to form a bilayer membrane structure. Doxorubicin can be inserted between DNA base pairs and inhibit the synthesis of DNA and RNA to play a role; chloramphenicol can inhibit bacteria protein synthesis. Loading the two into liposomes can, on the one hand, change the distribution of the drug in the body, allowing the drug to be more concentrated in the target site and improve the effect; on the other hand, it can reduce the side effects of the drug on normal tissues. At the same time, the liposome can also protect the drug from being rapidly metabolized and cleared, and prolong the circulation time of the drug in the body.
