| Product Name | Double-layer Droplet Generation Glass Chip |
| Catalog Number | MC-SPC-012 |
| Physical Specs | 22.5*15.0*4.0 mm |
| Description | The dual-layer droplet generation chip is a glass microfluidic chip designed to generate multi-core emulsion droplets. Compared to standard droplet generation chips, this chip offers faster droplet generation rates and higher droplet size uniformity. By adjusting the flow rates of the outer, intermediate, and inner fluids, customers can utilize the shear forces between fluids and the interaction between fluid viscosity and surface tension to create a velocity gradient in the dispersed phase under the influence of the continuous phase. This causes the dispersed phase to be sheared into microdroplets, which are then uniformly distributed within the continuous phase. This process enables localized modification of standard glass chips. The modified dual-layer droplet generation chip is used to prepare multinucleated emulsion droplets, featuring significant modification effects and simple operation. Its advantages include the ability to control batch droplets, uniform and stable droplet formation, and a simple experimental setup. |
