| Description | DMTAP-DOPE Cationic LNP is a medium phase transition temperature cationic liposome system based on the medium-chain saturated cationic lipid DMTAP. It is compounded of the cationic lipid DMTAP (dimyristoyltrimethylammonium propane, phase transition temperature ~23°C) and the neutral auxiliary phospholipid DOPE in a specific ratio. DMTAP has high membrane fluidity at physiological temperatures, and its shorter saturated carbon chain (C14) can reduce cellular Tox compared to long-chain cationic lipids (such as DOTAP) while maintaining nucleic acid binding ability; DOPE promotes the fusion of liposomes and endosomal membranes with its conical molecular structure, effectively mediating endosomal escape. |
