| Description | CY5.5-LNP@DOX is a complex. It organically combines cyanine 5.5 fluorescent dye-labeled lipid nanoparticles (LNP) with doxorubicin (DOX). Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) act as carriers in this complex, possessing a structure that effectively encapsulates the anticancer compound DOX. As a commonly used anticancer drug, doxorubicin has a killing effect on tumor cells, but there are problems such as poor targeting when used routinely. CY5.5 plays a key fluorescent labeling function. Its emitted light is in the near-infrared region and has the characteristics of strong fluorescence signal and high stability. With this property, DOX-encapsulated LNPs can be accurately tracked and imaged in vivo using the fluorescence of CY5.5 with the help of specific instruments. This allows DOX to reach the tumor site more accurately, improves the targeting of the compound, and enhances the anticancer effect. At the same time, it reduces the distribution of DOX in non-target tissues and reduces damage to normal tissues, thereby effectively reducing side effects. Therefore, the CY5.5-LNP@DOX complex shows broad application prospects in biomedical fields such as cancer treatment. |
