| Description | Citrinin (CTN) is a nephrotoxic mycotoxin targeting the kidney, produced by multiple fungal species belonging to Penicillium, Aspergillus, and Monascus genera. It is widely distributed in poorly stored crops, feed, and food commodities such as corn, wheat, rice, and nuts, with high detection rates in red yeast rice products, moldy fruits, and spoiled grains. Citrinin exerts multiple toxic effects in humans and animals, including reproductive toxicity, nephrotoxicity, intestinal toxicity, and hepatotoxicity, manifested as hepatocellular necrosis and gallbladder hyperplasia. The magnetic beads in this product are covalently conjugated with mouse anti‑CTN monoclonal antibodies, supporting efficient, rapid, and selective isolation and enrichment of citrinin. The isolated and enriched samples can be used for downstream detection platforms including immunochromatography, ELISA, HPLC, and LC‑MS/MS. |
