| Description | The chip allows for long-term cell culture in two independent channels; it is not only compatible with pneumatic perfusion systems but can also be easily used with a shaking incubator via its fluid reservoirs located at the inlet and outlet. The chip design includes two independent channels, each equipped with inlet and outlet reservoirs, which can be connected to a flow system to simulate a vascular structural framework. By seeding endothelial cells onto an extracellular matrix (ECM) coating surface that meets cell-type-specific growth and adhesion requirements, dynamic microenvironments can be reconstructed under various (physiological and pathological) flow rate conditions. |
