| Product Name | CD326 (EpCAM)+ Cell Sorting Beads, Mouse |
| Catalog Number | MGB-CS-040 |
| Size | for 2×10⁹ cells |
| Description | EpCAM is a calcium-independent adhesion molecule that regulates adhesion between homologous cells and inhibits cell migration. EpCAM can also weaken the adhesion mediated by E-cadherin by disrupting the connection between α-catenin and F-actin. The binding of EpCAM to tight junction-related protein - claudin can interfere with the adhesion between homologous cells mediated by EpCAM, promoting cell migration, proliferation, tumor formation and metastasis. CD326 (EpCAM)+ Cell Sorting Beads enable magnetic separation of EpCAM-expressing epithelial cells from mouse tissues, facilitating studies in epithelial biology, development, and tumorigenesis. |
| Applications | For the positive selection or removal of epithelial cells or epithelial tumor cells from single-cell preparations of tissues and organs expressing the mouse CD326 (EpCAM) antigen. |
| Storage | Store at 2-8°C. Do not freeze. |
