| Product Name | Bile-Duct-Liver-on-a-Chip |
| Catalog Number | OOC-049 |
| Physical Specs | 50*30*2 mm; 200*500*100 µm (micro column) |
| Description | This Bile-Duct-Liver-on-a-Chip reconstructs the three-dimensional tissue architecture and physiological microenvironment of the Liver on a microfluidic platform via biomimetic design. Precisely arranged cell-culture chambers and fluidic channels within the chip simulate in-vivo blood perfusion, mechanical stress, and tissue-interface interactions, sustaining long-term cell viability and functional expression under near-physiological conditions. Compared with conventional 2D culture, organ chips substantially improve the in vitro recapitulation of tissue function, providing a more clinically predictive in vitro model for drug metabolism, toxicity assessment, and disease-mechanism research. |
| Applications | Used to study physiology, disease mechanisms, and drug responses without the limitations of traditional two-dimensional culture or the ethical and logistical challenges of animal testing. |
| Features | High-fidelity simulation of organ-specific functions and responses; provision of ethical, human-relevant alternatives to animal models; improved accuracy in predicting drug responses in humans; and the ability to replicate healthy or diseased states according to specific research needs. |
