| Product Name | Anti-V5 Magnetic Beads |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-021 |
| Size | 0.5 mL×1, 0.5 mL×4 |
| Physical Specs | 200 nm |
| Description | Anti-V5 magnetic beads are produced by covalently coupling high-quality mouse monoclonal anti-V5 antibody to nanoscale magnetic beads, which specifically recognize V5-tagged proteins in plant, animal or microbial lysates, serum, ascites and other specimens for IP, Co-IP, or purification of V5-tagged fusion proteins and complexes. The V5-tag is a 14-amino-acid peptide (GKPIPNPLLGLDST) derived from simian parainfluenza virus V5; its nucleotide sequence is fused to the 5′ or 3′ end of the target gene to generate V5-tagged recombinant proteins. |
| Applications | IP, Co-IP, Protein purification |
| Particle Size | 200 nm |
| Concentration | 10 mg/mL |
| Surface Groups | ≥ 0.6 mg V5 antibody/mL beads |
| Magnetic Type | Superparamagnetic |
| Coupled Antibody | Anti-V5 mouse monoclonal antibody |
| Isotype | IgG2b |
| Specificity | V5-Protein, Protein-V5 |
| Elution method | Acid, peptide competitive or SDS-PAGE loading buffer elution. Note: If elute with SDS-PAGE loading buffer, the light (~25kDa) and heavy (~50kDa) chain of V5 antibody will be denatured and release from the beads. |
| Ligand-binding Capacity | ≥ 0.6 mg V5-tagged fusion protein/mL beads |
