| Product Name | Anti-Myc Magnetic Beads |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-020 |
| Size | 0.5 mL×1, 0.5 mL×4 |
| Physical Specs | 200 nm |
| Description | Anti-Myc magnetic beads are prepared by covalently conjugating high-quality mouse monoclonal anti-Myc antibody to nanoscale magnetic beads, which specifically bind to Myc-tagged proteins in plant, animal or microbial lysates, serum, ascites and other samples for immunoprecipitation (IP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), or purification of Myc-tagged fusion proteins and complexes. The Myc-tag is a 10-amino-acid peptide (EQKLISEEDL); its coding sequence is fused to the 5′ or 3′ end of the target gene via recombinant DNA technology to express Myc-tagged target proteins. |
| Applications | IP, Co-IP, Protein purification |
| Particle Size | 200 nm |
| Concentration | 10 mg/mL |
| Surface Groups | ≥ 0.6 mg Myc antibody/mL beads |
| Magnetic Type | Superparamagnetic |
| Coupled Antibody | Anti-Myc mouse monoclonal antibody |
| Isotype | IgG1 |
| Specificity | Met-Myc-Protein, Myc-Protein, Protein-Myc |
| Elution method | Acid, peptide competitive or SDS-PAGE loading buffer elution. Note: If elute with SDS-PAGE loading buffer, the light (~25kDa) and heavy (~50kDa) chain of Myc antibody will be denatured and release from the beads. |
| Ligand-binding Capacity | ≥ 0.6 mg Myc-tagged fusion protein/mL beads |
| pH | 6-8 |
