| Product Name | Anti-MBP Magnetic Beads |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-022 |
| Size | 0.5 mL×1, 0.5 mL×4 |
| Physical Specs | 200 nm |
| Description | Anti-MBP magnetic beads are fabricated by covalently conjugating premium mouse monoclonal anti-MBP antibody to nanoscale magnetic beads, which specifically bind to MBP-tagged proteins in plant, animal or microbial lysates, serum, ascites and other samples for IP, Co-IP, or purification of MBP-tagged fusion proteins and complexes. Maltose-binding protein (MBP), encoded by the malE gene in E. coli, is part of the maltose/maltodextrin system responsible for uptake, breakdown, and metabolism, with a molecular weight of approximately 42 kDa. The MBP tag is typically fused to the N-terminus of target proteins, though C-terminal fusion is also feasible. |
| Applications | IP, Co-IP, Protein purification |
| Particle Size | 200 nm |
| Concentration | 10 mg/mL |
| Surface Groups | ≥ 0.6 mg MBP antibody/mL beads |
