| Product Name | Anti-GST Magnetic Beads |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-024 |
| Size | 0.5 mL×1, 0.5 mL×4 |
| Physical Specs | 200 nm |
| Description | Anti-GST magnetic beads are produced by covalently conjugating high-quality mouse monoclonal anti-GST antibody to nanoscale magnetic beads, which specifically recognize GST-tagged proteins in plant, animal or microbial lysates, serum, ascites and other specimens for IP, Co-IP, or purification of GST-tagged fusion proteins and complexes. Glutathione S-transferase (GST), a ~26 kDa enzyme critical in detoxification pathways, is commonly fused to the N-terminus of target proteins in E. coli expression systems, with C-terminal fusion also applicable. |
| Applications | IP, Co-IP, Protein purification |
| Particle Size | 200 nm |
| Concentration | 10 mg/mL |
| Surface Groups | ≥ 0.6 mg GST antibody/mL beads |
| Magnetic Type | Superparamagnetic |
| Coupled Antibody | Anti-GST mouse monoclonal antibody |
| Isotype | IgG2b |
| Specificity | Met-GST-Protein, GST-Protein, Protein-GST |
| Elution method | Acid, peptide competitive or SDS-PAGE loading buffer elution. Note: If elute with SDS-PAGE loading buffer, the light (~25kDa) and heavy (~50kDa) chain of GST antibody will be denatured and release from the beads. |
| Ligand-binding Capacity | ≥ 0.6 mg GST-tagged fusion protein/mL beads |
| pH | 6-8 |
