| Product Name | Anti-GFP Magnetic Beads |
| Catalog Number | MGB-IP-025 |
| Size | 0.5 mL×1, 0.5 mL×4 |
| Physical Specs | 200 nm |
| Description | Anti-GFP magnetic beads are fabricated by covalently coupling premium mouse monoclonal anti-GFP antibody to nanoscale magnetic beads, which specifically bind to GFP-tagged proteins in plant, animal or microbial lysates, serum, ascites and other samples for IP, Co-IP, or purification of GFP-tagged fusion proteins and complexes. Green fluorescent protein (GFP) emits green fluorescence upon UV or blue light excitation. GFP and its enhanced variant EGFP are widely used in studies of gene expression regulation, transgene function, protein localization, trafficking, and high-throughput drug screening. As a live-cell probe, GFP enables real-time visualization of protein expression in living cells via fluorescence microscopy without cell lysis, substrates, or antibodies, offering high stability, sensitivity, and reproducibility. However, its ~25 kDa size may interfere with the function of fused target proteins. |
