| Description | Small molecule drug-loaded lipid nanoparticles is a specialized nano-lipid nanoparticle formulation of the WEE1 kinase inhibitor adavosertib (MK-1775). Adavosertib eliminates the cell cycle G2/M checkpoint by selectively inhibiting WEE1 kinase, causing DNA-damaged tumor cells to enter mitosis prematurely, thereby inducing mitotic catastrophe and cell apoptosis. Its combination with DNA damage research can produce a strong synergistic effect, but when used alone, its limited water solubility, rapid metabolism in the body, and lack of tumor targeting limit its full effect. |
