| Description | Time-resolved fluorescent microspheres (TRFM) typically contain chelates of rare earth elements (such as Eu³⁺ and Sm³⁺) embedded within them. When excited by ultraviolet light, these rare earth ions emit fluorescence at specific wavelengths and possess a long fluorescence lifetime, far exceeding the short-lived intrinsic fluorescence of the sample matrix. By measuring the fluorescence signal with a time delay, the instrument can capture the specific signal after the background fluorescence has decayed, thereby significantly improving detection sensitivity and accuracy. |
| Applications | This product demonstrates exceptional application potential and value in in vitro diagnostics and immunochromatographic assays. In clinical settings, time-resolved fluorescent microspheres are widely used in diverse diagnostic panels, including thyroid function tests (TSH, T3, T4), reproductive hormone assays (FSH, LH, HCG), tumor marker detection (AFP, CEA, PSA), infectious disease screening (HBsAg, HBsAb), inflammatory biomarker analysis (SAA, CRP), and cardiovascular disease evaluation (cTnI, NT-proBNP). Within immunochromatography, time-resolved fluorescence immunochromatographic assay (TRFMIA) enables simultaneous detection of multiple serum tumor markers such as Alpha-Fetoprotein (AFP) and Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA). |
| Features | These fluorescent microspheres feature uniform particle size, excellent monodispersity, and good stability, with a PDI coefficient of ≤0.03 for every batch; the microspheres have a higher density of encapsulated fluorescent material, more uniform dispersion, and higher detection sensitivity; specifically designed for immunochromatographic quantitative detection platforms and microplate-based ultra-sensitive detection platforms. |
